Crackle and Pop 6: Tom Waits :Downtown Train (NME Version)"

Tom Waits "Downtown Train (NME Version)" was part of NME GIV 3 7" from February 1986.

I loved early Tom Waits but got a bit lost when he started banging bones together. This was made into something horrible by Rod Stewart. Listen to this original and its fantastic steely guitar sound.

awesome. I just bought a USB turntable and one of the first records I put on was this 7". Not only has it got this but it's got a different version of Jesus and Mary Chain's Some Candy Talking and Husker Du doing Ticket to Ride.

But my copy was totally warped so I'm really glad to find this. Thanks!
